about me

I'm Elizabeth Bastos. I founded Victorian Natural Historian in 2017 because I found myself in my 40s wanting to love what I had loved as a child:


science and dress-up. 

​

I'm qualified to create "#sciart performance 19th-century Victorian lady naturalist cosplay" because I have a background in English, Marine Biology, and Museum Studies, and I am a big nerd.
